	May 2018 Regular Meeting Parks and Recreation Advisory Board Date: May 1st , 2018 Time: 4:30pm Parks and Recreation Minutes Present:  Jeremy Hall, Shawn Mullen, Deb Mckinney, Chris Hanson, Courtney Hyte, Tim Adams Call to Order:  Deb Mckinney called the meeting to order.   Approval of the minutes of the March 6th, Regular Meeting:  Tim Adams motioned to approve the minutes.  Chris Hanson seconded.  All approved.    Audience of Citizens Communications Unfinished Business Seamster Park Playground Fundraising opportunities/updates Fundraising update       Golf Tournament May 24th Blackledge This is the next major fundraising event coming up for the Seamster Park playground.  There are currently about 30 golfers signed up.   Seamster Park Playground upcoming plan Jeremy Hall summarized the fundraising efforts and the steps to come.   Program update Shawn Mullen gave a report on the status of Spring and Summer programming.   Summer Staff Update All summer staff has been hired for the season.  Staff trainings are being setup for all staff.   New Business Other Concerns Director’s Report Budget Update Jeremy updated everyone on the status of the budget.    Committee Reports Adjournment:  Tim Adams motioned to adjourn.  Chris Hanson seconded.  All approved.
